Walther works for a first class hotel as an apprentice to become a hotel manager. During the course of his training he works at almost every position so he gets an in-depth understanding of the hotel business. The most fascinating job to him is the concierge position. It offers the most variety and he gets in contact with the most interesting characters asking for services he doesn't even know to exist. One day there was a guest asking for a special arrangement for the evening. He was looking for an escort boy and made a big point not to get a lousy street boy. Of course the main concierge had contacts to arrange that. The boy that finally came along was our "John D". Walther managed to get in contact with him while they were waiting for his "client". They liked each other immediately, met several times and are befriended since.
